Education

Shari and her husband Marty, have been members of Living Lord Lutheran Church  for 16 years, having moved to Bradenton from WI.  Both born and raised in WI they are avid Green Bay Packer fans.  They have been married for 30 years, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.  Together they enjoy traveling, kayaking, biking and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Shari was active in her hometown church, having sung in the choir and played in the bell choir.  She also volunteered in various capacities while raising their family.  Upon retirement from her teaching career, Shari found she had more time to give to the church.  She is currently teaching Faith Formation classes, serves on the church council, is chair of the Education Team and also serves on the Board of Directors for All God’s Children.

Shari enjoys volunteering in her community.  She is an usher at the Asolo Rep. Theater, pedals the Surrey Bike on the Legacy Trail in Venice and is a guide for Around The Bend Nature Tours.
