Parish Life

Stephney lives in Lakewood Ranch with her husband of 47 years, Maitland. She has been a member of Living Lord since 2018. Originally from Jamaica,West Indies.  Maitland and Stephney are parents of 2 adult daughters, Margaret and Amanda and grandparents of Isadora (9) and Solomon (7). 

Maitland and Stephney met while studying in England. Both children were born there. Eventually they moved to South Carolina when both children were pre-teens. The girls were nurtered by the Cross and Crown Lutheran Church of South Carolina while Maitland was a Mathematics professor at University of South Carolina and Stephney worked as an Occupational Therapist for hospitals,  home health and local schools. 

Stephney enjoys lawn tennis, sewing and succulent gardening.
